Professor Samuel Oladiipo KOLAWOLE, FNITI, Director / Chief Executive Officer on assumption of duty has commenced establishing relationships that matter in the course of steering the ship of the Nigeria French Language Village. The first step in the right direction taken by the Professor of Translation and Interpretation Studies was his visit to the Executive Secretary, National Universities Commission, Prof. Abdullahi Yusuf Ribadu in Abuja. Prof. Kolawole was led by his predecessor, Prof L. B. Ayeleru on the familiarization visit and was received by the NUC boss in his office.  The Executive Secretary who is coincidentally a French enthusiast was delighted to receive the newly appointed 5th Director / Chief Executive Officer and while congratulating him, pledged the Commission’s support to enable the Inter-University Centre for French Studies in Nigeria deliver on its mandate.
